The Miltech Business Network
Bamek AS is a mechanical production company in Ballangen, Narvik Municipality, and has initiated and established the Miltech business network in formal collaboration with Ofotech AS (www.ofotech.no) and Transportindustri AS (www.transportindustri.no).
Why the Miltech business network?
The goal of Bamek AS and the Miltech network is to develop a Northern Norwegian defence industrial structure that delivers services and products to the Armed Forces, as well as to established defence industries both nationally and internationally.
The activities aim not only to strengthen the participating companies, but also to contribute to the development of total defence through the establishment of a complete defence industrial structure in close cooperation with the Armed Forces as both user and customer.
Bamek AS is the owner of the network, and the project is led by Arena Nord Utvikling AS, represented by project manager Terje Steinsund (www.arenanord.no).
